Growing up my mother taught us to set goals. We set A LOT of goals. I acheived a lot of them and somehow forgot about others. I believe in goals. I believe that we can accomplish more and be better with goals. However, I like many other LDS women and mothers tend to be a little difficult on myself. So, I'm not necessarilly setting goals right now. I have too much going on in life. But, I am going to try to be a better me in the New Year and always. So just a couple of things that I am working on.

I am attempting to take pictures more often. My kids are growing up so fast. Our life gets so hectic and time is passing by so quickly. I have a horrible memory. I NEED more pictures, more often. So, I started a blog that will be just a picture a day. No explanations, just a short caption. So, check out my picture a day.
Serve someone in someway everyday:
When we went to the Los Angeles Temple on New Year's the girls and I visited the Service exhibit. It is moving and beautiful. The sister missionary challenged us to serve someone in some little way everyday. The exhibits shows wonderful acts of service that are kind of big. But, I am going to try to do something little for someone else everyday.
Don't sweat the small stuff:
I tend to stress over things that aren't really that important. I need to be more like my father who just went with the flow and recognized that he couldn't control everything. I really am going to try to keep things in perspect and really try to remember what is important.
Then there are the things I always resolve to do: diet, excercise, keep my house clean, read my scriptures everyday, be a better and more patient mother and so on and so forth, which of course I am still working on. But, I am just going to do my best and realize that I am not perfect. I am just trying to be the best me that I can be and most of the time it's pretty darn good.
