Happy Noise

Our home is a happy home filled with  happy noise. We are not quiet people. My kids love to sing and dance and they compete for attention and that sometimes goes to whoever is the loudest. Our piano is constantly being played. Gracie plays the violin and is playing the recorder this year for music class also. My boys rough house, Savannah loves to practice karate, and flag twirling (she uses her brother's light saber for this), plus we have a very yappy puppy. Lots of noise. When my kids go to bed and I sit down on the couch in the evening there is this moment where I take a deep cleansing breath and am so happy for the quiet. :) Well a few days ago Dwight was asked by his beautiful nieces to sing @ his sister's funeral and play his trumpet at the grave side service. My handsome husband is an incredibly talented man. Of course he said yes and then proceeded to find a trumpet. He sold his a couple of years ago. He went to our nearest music store and was able to rent one for 30 days. :) Oh, talk about noise level. I was really impressed with how quickly it came back to him. He picked it up starting playing scales and whamo he is a trumpet player once again or still really. He is going to do an amazing job. My kids all had a try.  My Gunnar boy has the most natural ability. So cute! Just a little more happy noise to our happy home.
