Here we go

Just finishing up the last minute "to dos" and we are off to California this morning. Hurley the guinea pig is loaded up on food and water (my mom and Patty are afraid of him and will not reach into his cage to feed him). My freezer is full of tv dinners for my mom and Patty to survive on until we come home. They will take care of Delilah the shih-poo and big red the betta fish. I worry a little about them while we are gone and hope that all will be well. If not I have a few friends that I can call to drop by and help them. This will be a roller coaster of a trip. We will be with Dwight's family to mourn his beautiful sister's death and to celebrate her life. Then we will have a little fun, we can't come back after Christmas like we were planning, and we will spend some quality time with my sweet family. We are caravaning this morning on our trip out with Dwight's brother Shawn, his wife Carey, and one of my favorite little people their son SJ. Off to Cali we go. I hope I get some sand in my toes some point along the way. :)
