Bear Loves Candy

Bear loves candy. He asks for it constantly. He throws a huge fit if it sees it and doesn't get it. On Sunday at church he did not want to stay in sunbeams. I sat with him for a while and every time I tried to get up to leave he would cry. So while he was preoccupied coloring his teacher asked me what I thought would help him stay so that I could leave. I'm like, "Well do you have any candy?" So she got some candy out and asked the kids if they wanted some. I got up opened the door and was standing just outside the door with the door still open to see how Bear would respond. He stood between me and his teacher with the candy. He looked at me, he looked at the candy, he looked at me, he looked at the candy. Then he walked to his teacher and said "I want candy!" in his really deep Bear voice. I thought it was really funny. I know he loves me a lot but when faced with the decision of mommy or candy he picked candy. I'm sure he knew he'd see me again right.
