The Tenderness of A Bear

Dwight and I often joke about how we really made a mistake in naming Bear. He is such a wild animal and so much really like a Bear, we joke that maybe had we name him after an animal that was more docile he would be too. I somehow came across a sight about Brown Bears and thought it was so funny how much they are like my Bear.

I have a new found respect and admiration for Bears. I picture my Bear as a Brown Bear. I think they're really cute, but scary and demanding of respect at the same time, like I think my Bear will be. This little fish catcher so reminds me of my little Bear. He loves the water. This bear has endless energy like my Bear.Bear loves to wrestle. He and Dwight are really big on rough housing. Gunnar has really started to get into it too.
My bear is a total mama's boy. He is so sweet to me. He holds my face with both of his hands kisses me and whispers in the sweetest little Bear voice. "I uv you mommy."He always wants to hold my hand, or for me to carry him. He strokes my hair and tells me, "Mommy your hair is beautiful."
He is such a big boy. Like a big old bear. He is strong and tough.Did you know that the Grizzly bear has no natural enemies? He can defeat a pack of wolves. His only known enemy is "Man". I hope my Bear is like a Grizzly, and that he defeats all of the "wolves" in his life. I'm so thankful for my little Bear. I'm so glad he's 100% boy, that he's full of energy and enthusiasm. I'm especially grateful for his love. He trully has the tenderness of a Bear. I'm so glad that we named him BEAR.
