So last week, I was upstairs putting away laundry talking on the phone, when I hear Savannah screaming. "Mommy, mommy, my head is bleeding." So I quickly hung up the phone and accessed the damage. Lots of blood. She and Bear had been playing and she fell and hit her head on the wood frame of what she calls the baby chair. My rocking glider. She and I went and got a wet rag and cleaned it up and stopped the bleeding. I called Dwight and told him what happened and that I thought we should probably take her in. So, since we didn't have a Kaiser info and the lady at Dwight's work wasn't getting back to us, we ended up taking her to an Urgent Care over off of Perris Blvd. (I know, such a bad idea.) Dwight didn't want to go to the E.R., knowing it would cost a thousand dollars. So, the doctor looked at it, said that she would need stiches, so we prepaid, cash $220. That's a lot to us. Dwight was pretty much in tears trying to think how much money we had and how long it had to last us and we really didn't need this added expense. So we take her back and the nurses, give her two shots. A tetnous shot in her arm and a shot of antibiotics in her butt. She is totally screaming. I'm crying. The nurses did not have a gentle bone in the two bodies combined together. They just held her down and jabbed the needles in. It was so sad. Then the doctor came in. He put Savannah face down on the table and the two nurses, Dwight, me and the doctor are all trying to hold her down on the table. She is screaming bloody murder and I am still crying. The doctor takes out this huge needle, tweezer thing with the stiching attached to it. He shoves her head into the table and prepares to stick the back of her head with the huge needle tweezer thing. (that's the technical term : ) ) Dwight goes, "Wait, aren't you going to numb her. " The doctor says, " oh no, i just do, she too upset. Just one bite. "
Dwight is like, "We're out of here. There is no way you're sticking that into her head without numbing it first. So long story short, or atleast shorter. We left. They wouldn't give us any of our money back and while I was getting Savannah dressed and ready to go, Dwight recieved an email, with all of our new Kaiser info. We ended up bringing her home, cleaning it really well and putting antibiotic ointment on it. This picture is today, almost 1 week later. She is healing. She will be fine. The scar will be under her hair and we all survived the incident. We can never regain our day back though, and I'm sure we will never get our money back. We are reporting him to the medical board though. Dr. George VillaNueva. Big meany doctor who stole our money. He's not even and M.D. My receipt shows he's a D.O. Big quack!
