Barbie Golf Clubs
Gracie and I haven't been very motivated with school lately. I think we can feel summer coming. Gracie did a great job this year with Kindergarten. We finished kindergarten and we are almost done with first grade. We'll work a little bit over the summer so we can finish it up and she'll start 2nd grade curriculum for her first grade year. Since, we've been kind of lazy though I had to come up with something to motivate Gracie. So, I made a Barbie golf clubs deal with her. She really wants her daddy to teach her to golf. So she has to know her 60 sight words for 1st grade and finish all of her phonics readers for first grade. She has to get ten stickers on all of the sight words and read through #30 of the phonics readers without any help. She's almost already done with the sight words, but she's only on book 12 on the phonics readers. Each book has 3 or 4 stories. So that might take a couple more weeks. She is really motivated to get those golf clubs though. A little motivation makes all the difference. She has been so much more positive at school time.
