I was thinking how I haven't posted anything about The Dance Festival and it has consumed my life that last couple of months. So, for journaling sake here goes. Our stake is participating in a regional dance festival. There are I think 12 stakes participating and 3500 youth. I am teaching two of the dances in our building. So in our building three wards come together to learn the dances. I teach the deacons. They are doing a basketball dance, to Getcha Head In the Game, from High School Musical. It has been so fun. I really like this dance. There are some pretty difficult moves for 12 year old boys. I have become so fond of these boys. They are so good. Then I also teach the Mia Maids and Teachers. They are doing a cha cha to Oye Como Va. They do the dances in a 30ft square. So there will be 30 ft squares all over the football field at The University of Redlands with youth dancing in them. They do pretty cool dances and have tons of formation changes which I think will look so cool. The teachers are going to hate their gold flamingo dancer shirts, but besides that i think that costumes are pretty cute. So I dance on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Then I had a few meetings on Thursday and Sundays. So some weeks, I've had dance related meetings 4 days a week. This week I have a girls camp meeting on Thursday night and a costume fitting with the kids on Saturday. It has been so busy. I am really enjoying it, but I'll be glad when it's over, just because it's been hectic. The kids have been really good. I'm thankful, because I've heard other instructors complain about how their kids don't listen to them. So after this next week, we start Saturday practices. Pretty much every Saturday up to the show, which is July 25 and 26. I'm going to girls camp June 16-19 too. It will be my first time away from the kids, besides going to the hospital to have another kid. I'm excited and scared and sad all at the same time. So I'll be glad when that's done too. Anyways, so I think the Dance Festival is going to be so good and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Robyn, I just wanted to thank you for all of the hard work you do for the youth. You really impress me, and I want to thank you for your good example. I can't wait until school is over, so I will only have work to worry about. :) Geesh, my life has been crazy these past few months working 2 jobs, and going to school and I apologize for the lack of time I have been able to put into everything. Where would we be without you??? :)
