A Day at the Beach

You'd think that since we live in California we would visit the beach often. But, we don't. I took the kids one time last summer, and I spent so much time chasing after the boys that I decided to wait until this summer to go back. So we tried our first trip to the beach of the summer this week. The kids had so much fun. They were really good. I had to chase after Gunnar a few times but he was afraid of the water so that helped. The kids are really anxious to go back. We met up with one of my bestest friends from college Misty and her four beautiful children. It was so fun to see her, it had been years. She is one of my friends that even though we haven't seen each other in years when we get together our friendship is like no time has passed. She is one of my bosom buddies. Our kids played great and we had a really good time. Love you Misty.
