My Little Boys

Today during sacrament meeting I went with my two little boys into the primary room. I go in there often during sacrament. The boys climb on the chairs and play the piano and I turn the speaker on and listen to sacrament. I have recently had some of the most spiritual sacraments in the primary room where I don't have to stress over if the boys are being loud or climbing over the pews in the chapel. Today as I sat and watched them play and interact with each other I had this overwhelming grattitude come over me. I love these little boys. They are messy, they love to climb and jump, they rough house and hit, they are sooo much trouble. But, they love me so unconditionally. Today after I yelled at Bear because he left the fridge open and Gunnar was climbing in it he looked up at me and so sweetly and said, "Mommy, why you mad at me?" I immediately felt bad, but told him he was causing me trouble. He said "I cause you trouble mommy. I sorry." He is so the sweetest little boy. He does get in a lot of trouble and he still pees his pants more that I would like. But, man do I love that little boy. I am especially grateful for his love for me. He rubs my face and tells me I'm beautiful. He constantly hugs and kisses me and blows me kisses in the middle of playing at the park or riding his bike. Gunnar is super sweet and loving too. He loves to give kisses. He's getting really good at puckering up and making the mmmmwoooch sound. He won't stay in nursery. Every time I leave him within minutes one of the nursery women bring him to me crying so hard he can barely catch his breath. It's nice to be needed. One of the little boys in our ward call me Mama Bear because I'm Bear's Mama. I can't think of a nicer name. I'm so grateful to be a mother, for all of the joy that my children bring to me. Today I am especially grateful for my little boys.

That little boy doesn't know how right he is. Mama Bear fit's you perfectly! Everyone who knows you has learned from you and can trust you; just like cubs with their mama.

Hello Robyn! Our lives sound very much the same. Right now I am at home with my sick boys. I sent the girls to church early with Robert. Hopefully they are sitting on the front row so Robert can watch them from the stand. I am praying that they aren't fighting over who gets to pass the sacrament tray! Have a great day! - Em
