We went to Disneyland last Friday with Dwight's brother Dean and his family. We had a really fun time. It was really crowded though. Probably the most crowded we have ever seen. I had Savannah, Bear and Gunnar, and we were waiting for everyone else to go on the Haunted Mansion. Savannah is really good at staying with me. She normally holds on to my stroller. But, we had just bought a frozen lemonade and she was holding it with both hands. I started to walk over towards the exit of the Haunted Mansion and she started to walk the other way. It was so crowded, it was hard to stay together. I thought she was walking right behind me. It couldn't have been more than 30 seconds and I noticed she wasn't behind me. I frantically started looking around for her. Because it was so short of time I knew she couldn't be far and I was really scared someone took her. Throught the crowd I was able to see her long blond hair. I started running, pushing my stroller, yelling her name and weaving through people. She was talking to a lady. She was scared. She ran to me and we embraced. It couldn't have been more than one or two minutes of time that elapsed, but it really scared me. She told me that she was asking the lady to help her find me. The lady asked her what I looked like and she said my mommy has blonde hair and a face just like me. I thought that was so funny. People tell her a lot that she looks like me. I call her my mini me. After talking for a few minutes with her after we were reunited she asked me, mommy did you tell people you lost your best Savannah? She is such a sweet girl and I am so thankful to have her as my daughter. She is my best Savannah.
