Four years ago we created our Jordan Family New Year's Tradtion. We always go to Dwight's favorite restraunt The Bear Pit. It's in the valley off of Sepulveda. It's a Missouri style BBQ. I haven't always liked it but it has grown on me. There is saw dust all over the floor and that still bothers me. I think it's yucky. But the food is the best bbq you can find. Sooo yummy. Our Bear thinks it's his restraunt and that it's named for him.
Then we head over to the Los Angeles Temple. Normally we hang out in the visitor's center for a while and watch a movie. But, it was closed this year. So we walked around and took pictures and saw the pretty nativity and Christmas lights. Its great to start the new year together as a family. We really enjoy spending time together. Our kids bring us so much joy. The temple reminds us that we can be together forever. We are so blessed to have the gospel and the knowledge that we can be an eternal family. I love my family.
