Our first week at Santa Rosa Academy was great! My kids love their teachers and they all made friends. I love the program and so far the curriculm seems good. We recieve work packets to complete and turn in every Tuesday, so it's so easy to do our homeschool days. The first day of school I was really excited that there happened to be a booster club meeting. I was anxious to be involved. Well, I somehow became the Booster Club President!!!! First day of school!!!! WOW!!! So, my couple of days of freedom a week isn't looking so free. :) I jumped in at a really busy time. Maybe it's always a busy time though. This week we have a muffins with mom event before school. Then next week we are selling and delivering candy grams. Then in a couple of weeks we have our Daddy daughter dance. Other events coming up are the annual carnival, storm baseball game, bingo night, and the mother and son movie night just to name a few. So fun! I'm super excited and so thankful to be LDS. All of my church experience totally helps me in organizing and running events. My kids are joining the drama club and will be in the Spring musical. They also get to participate in an upcoming golf workshop with our school's PGA teaching pro. There are so many opportunities for us and I am really enjoying becoming part of the shcool community. So far so good. Full of hope! My kiddos LOVE their uniforms. I wonder how long that will last? It has been an adjustment for us getting up early. You can tell in their pictures they were tired that first day. :)
