Crafty update

I'm feeling so crafty. : ) I found the oh so cutest family home evening assignment display board thingy in the garage the other day when I was looking for something for my young women's lesson. I got it at a Home making back in the Lake Perris ward probably like 5 years ago or more. At the time I was overwhelmed with babies babies and my mom's breast cancer I remember. But I knew that the day would come that I would be ready to make this oh so cute and fun little FHE thingy. And the day has come. It's a big project, so I'll do just a little at a time. I'll post pictures as I go and if anyone is interested I can email the patterns to you. There's one for each month. I did January last night, going to get it laminated today. Yay!!! So fun. I now have some motivation to finish my magnetic board because I need it for this project. It's gonna be so cute. I know you will be waiting in anticipation to see it!!! : ) Happy to not have any drama today and have a little free time. I do have to go to the lab, for both me and my mom. Then, I have a free day. Yay! Gonna go get my nails done in preparation for my horrible girly test I have to have on Thursday. I will feel much better having it done if my toes are painted. So silly, but so true.

Patty is home and doing well. We have to change her dressing twice a day and she is taking antibiotics. We will follow up with the hand surgeon next week. My mom is feeling fine but still has the yucky lump on her right arm. Being a breast cancer survivor it's never good to have a lump. Scary. They are still thinking lymphodema but she is having some further testing later this week. Finger crossed, legs crossed, toes crossed, eyes crossed, everything that can be crossed crossed that they don't find any cancer.

Still hoping for no drama so we get date night. It's so my favorite time of the week. I'd love a Saturday fun day with my kiddos too. Normalcy, that's what I want and need.
