Hope she doesn't read this. But here it is.
I was chit chatting with my nail lady on Saturday while she was doing my nails. I normally have one of two ladies do my nails. They are both super sweet and do a great job and I LOVE having my nails done. They both are from Vietnam but have been here in the states for some time. They are both young mothers and wives like me. It just made me think about my life. Can you imagine working 6 days a week from 9am to 7pm. That's 60 hours. I'm sure they get some breaks right, but still away from home 60 hours a week. I know so few stay at home moms now. Their little kiddos at the babysitter's house. Tear!!!! I'm so thankful to my hubby for it being so important to him that I stay home with our kiddos and making it possible for me to have my life. I complain about it a lot and sometimes find it hard to be home too much and loathe laundry, dishes and cleaning. But, my nail ladies have to do that too. Just a reminder for me of how blessed I am. As I wake up this Monday morning with a sink full of dishes, piles of laundry, dirty toilets, and endless to dos on my list I am going to try to remember how blessed I am to be able to stay home and take care of my family. Now here's to finding my inner domestic diva and my pink rubber gloves.
