So, today is my first day in I don't even know how long that I don't actually have to go anywhere. The only reason I will leave the house at all today is to walk to the park/bus stop to pick up my kiddos this afternoon. So, I was going to catch up on laundry and cleaning and do some school work and prepare my talk for Sunday since I am speaking in church. But.......... I have been sewing this morning. I just couldn't help myself. I had some scrap material and some material that I got to make a table cloth. Well, a table cloth didn't sound so fun today, so I made myself an apron. My sewing experience is very limited. I am not very good at all. But, I enjoy it. These are my first two projects all by myself without any assistance. Why is Marisela so far away when I need her so?
I made these t-shirts for my little girls. They are samples for my Young Women. An idea for our ward camp shirt. My girls love them and are so excited to wear them. I think they turned out pretty darn cute.
My apron. I love it. It looks super cute as long as you don't look too close at my lack of sewing skills. Now, that I have an apron to wear I guess it's time to go clean my dirty house. Have a great day!
