Day 5 was another Disney off day. We decided to go see Hotel Transylvania at the Orange Block. It was really cute. The kids loved it. That night we met my brother Joe and his family for dinner at Benihana. Gunnar and William just happened to be wearing the same shirt. This happens alot! Great moms think alike. :)
A picture of a picture.
After dinner we went and walked around Downtown Disney. The kiddos played for a long time at the lego store with the racers.
Day 6 was our last day at Disneyland. The park was open from 8 to midnight and our plan was to take advantage of every minute. We got to the park around 7:45. We left the park that night at about 12:20. It was a crazy fun day. The kids did amazing. Gunnar slept for about 20 minutes at 9:00pm. He woke up refreshed and happy to finish out the night.
One of my favorite pictures of our trip.
Gracie is such a poser.
I got this embarrassing hat to protect myself from the sun. (I had some skin cancer removed last month and I don't want to do that again!!!)
The kids loved the canoes!!!!
This picture is at dinner around 8:00pm. They are starting to get tired but still going!
This picture is at about 11:45pm. Still happy faces!!!
12:20am. Heading back to our hotel. We had such a great time. My brother Joe and his kiddos came and played with us for a couple of hours. My final thoughts on Disneyland: I'm sort of sad that they keep raising the prices. I wonder what Walt would think? My Grandpa Pearson was the master carpenter on the building of the Matterhorn. He also did a lot of the wood work throughout the park, lots on main street. Walt gave him a silver pass where he could bring anyone in with him. My mom still has it. Wish it worked for us!!! It's just such a magical place. The feeling there is so sweet. We are so happy and our worries disappear for that time. It is what I miss about California the most. (besides my family!) We had an amazing time. We built memories that we will never forget. I love to see my kiddos so happy. So thankful to my hubby for making it happen. We have a truly blessed life.
