Thankful for.....4

Today I am thankful for my siblings. We don't stay in touch as much as we should. Life is busy and we seem to live too far apart (yucky AZ). But, when I do see them I know that they love me and care about my life. There's this special thing about being in a family that makes you alike. I love that. I love that my brothers all look like my Dad. It's comforting to me. Even though I am a lot younger than most of my siblings and I wasn't raised with them around all of the time, I find that we have little things in common because we are family. Because we come from the same background and because my Dad loved us all. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Among us are 5 return missionaries, 6 temple marriages, and 7 beautiful people that I'm proud to call my family. My Dad now has 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I wish I talked to my siblings more often but I know that they love me and I'm thankful to be a part of the wonderful Pratt family. My oldest sister Lise and I have a lot in common. She was very close to my dad like me. She is a daddy's girl. Even though we aren't very close in age, I have always felt close to her because we have similar interests. She is my only sibling who keeps up on my blog. (I love you Lise). Ray is blonde like me. His eyes get really big when he is mad like my Dad. :) He calls me on my Birthday and Christmas. Jeff has my dad's laugh. He is easy going and comfortable to be around. Laura is a great example of an LDS woman. I have always looked up to her and wanted to be like her when I grow up. I still do. :) Lucy went to beauty school when I was young. I was her model and loved getting my hair and nails done. She was a thoughtful big sister. My brother Joe is only 2 and 1/2 years older than me. We grew up together. He and I experienced some difficult things in our teenage years. We stuck together and relied on each other.  Growing up I was Joe Pratt's little sister. I sort of resented it then. But, I'm proud of it now. I still consider him one of my best friends. He is good and kind. I am so thankful that each of them is my sibling. I am grateful that I am part of this unique family. I love my brothers and sisters.
