Thankful number 14

I'm thankful for blogging.

Can you believe that I started this blog nearly 5 years ago? It's has been a roller coaster of a life. A crazy, busy, wonderful, beautiful life. I have been pretty open with most of our life circumstances. We have had some serious ups and downs. I blog mainly for my children. I blog so that they can look back and see how much we love them and how important our family is to us. I looked over a few old posts tonight. I had four kids in four years. Those first few years were really hard. I barely remember the busy blur of being a mother with 4 young children. It is such a blessing for me to be able to look back at my blog and remember. We are in such a fun phase of life right now. My children are independent and can fix their own breakfast. That is amazing! :) They are playing sports and singing in the choir. We have scouts and activity day. We are always busy running someone somewhere. It is such a joyful busy though. I enjoy even more our quiet time. I love that my kiddos are home with me. I love that I can blog and share our life with our family and friends. I love to walk into the school room and see my kiddos huddled around a computer going back, back, back on this little blog. They love seeing pictures of themselves and remembering the good old days. I'm thankful for this little blog and for the ability that we have to remember our journey as a family. 

 This picture was on my very first blog post in January of 2008. It reminds me to cherish everyday because my kids are going to grow up. The time has gone by too fast. It has been such an amazing joyful journey.
