My sweet kiddos sang in the Stake Christmas Choir. There was a beautiful Christmas Nativity display with ALOT of nativities!! It was beautiful and my kiddos were great. I loved it. They sang a couple of different nights and one day at an assisted living home. It was a great experience and I'm so thankful that we participated.
They're gorgeous little people. Christmas Eve is a great night in our house. It's beautiful and magical. We set a pretty Christmas table. Then we ate Del Taco. Yep it was great. The kids and I baked all day. So, I was exhausted and we needed something easy with no clean up. Perfect! We still used the pretty table. :) Then we talked about the true meaning of Christmas. We read the book The Three Trees. We read Luke 2. We had pretty candles lit. My Gracie stopped me and asked if she could say something. Tears ran from her eyes and she talked about how the light of the candles reminded her how Jesus Christ is the light of the world. How because he was born and lived and died we can be together forever. She said she feels the spirit so strong and how it's easier to feel the spirit at Christmas time. I cried. Then my Gunnar asked if he could say something. :) He said he knows Heavenly Father loves him and the candle pointing straight to Heaven reminds him how he will be with him and Jesus someday. :) I cried some more. We believe that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world and that Christmas is about celebrating his birth. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Then we opened our Christmas Eve presents. It's our tradition to get new jammies on Christmas Eve. This year the kids and I got footy pj's. So fun!
Then the kids and I watched the Santa Claus movie while my hubby went to wrap my presents. :) Gunnar lost a tooth while we were watching the movie. Exciting! Santa and the Tooth Fairy on the same night. My kiddos are now all tucked tight in bed. They are dreaming of a magical morning! They are healthy, happy, beautiful little people. We are so blessed. We wish you a very Merry Christmas!
