Rainy days and Mondays

As a little girl we listened to The Carpenter's often. They were one of my mom's favorite bands. They sing a song about rainy days and Monday's. We have had several rainy days in a row. There has been some sort of record rain fall. I like to lay in bed and listen to the rain or to snuggle with a blanket and hot chocolate and watch a movie. It's been a little harder to get motivated to do our schoolwork though and get myself to the gym. :) Monday is a great day at our house too. We typically have Family Home Evening on Mondays. It's a time for us to come together as a family and learn more about the gospel as we grow closer together. We have been studying the new curriculum from the church for the youth. This month's topic was the Godhead. I love listening to my children share their thoughts and beliefs. I love seeing their faces as they feel the spirit. They know that their Heavenly Father loves them. We have such a blessed life.
