Mother's Day

I love mother's day. Don't we all love days where we are celebrated? I love that everyone has to be extra nice to me. My children are amazing little people. They are very considerate of others. They made me very thoughtful homemade, hand made gifts. They made me cards. Gracie made me the cutest crown. They brought me breakfast in bed. My hubby is always thoughtful of me also, but extra thoughtful on mother's day. He bought me a new bike this year. So fun!! He also got me flowers, a card, and made me a delicious dinner.

I'm so thankful for my mother. I'm thankful that she lives with us and that my children are able to have such a special opportunity to build relationships with her and memories with her that they will always remember. She is patient with them and so kind. She gives them extra love that they need as they grow, learn, and develop. She loves to come and support them in their extra curricular activities. I am so thankful for the example that she is to me.

I can't imagine a greater blessing in my life than being a mother. It brings me the truest joy. I cannot even express the love that I feel for my children. I am so thankful for them, for their goodness, and the amazing little people that they are. They make me look like such a good mother, but really, they came to me as extraordinary individuals that teach me daily. Being a mother is my greatest treasure, my greatest accomplishment in life will be my children.
