Christmas 2013

Christmas is our favorite time of year. It's everyone's really isn't it? This year it went by way too fast!! Gracie's Nutcracker rehearsals and performances took over our November and December. Plus my hubby took a significant pay cut for November and December (he works for a start up, things are complicated, he got his full pay back this month). So we didn't have the time or the money to do all of the things we normally do. We still had a wonderful Christmas! We were able to really remember the reason for the season and focus on the birth of the savior and the difference that has on our lives (next year we're taking the whole month of December off school!!!)

My kiddos love to write letters to Santa. They are funny and sweet. We always mail them at Macy's. 

 We love Disneyland at Christmas time. We were so excited to be able to go after not being there during the holidays the last couple of years. We were sad that the fireworks were cancelled, but it still snowed on main street, which the kids loved. We saw Santa, rode all of our favorite rides, watched the holiday shows, and drank hot chocolate. Disney Christmas fun!!

We had the stomach flu for Christmas!!! It was so sad. Gunnar started puking Christmas Eve. He even had to puke in the middle of opening presents Christmas morning. He cried, he was so sad. He still had a happy Christmas though. Santa brought him and all the kids everything on their lists!!!
