We originally had planned on leaving early Thursday morning to head to California. But, we were anxious and wanted as much time as possible playing. So we packed up and left late Wednesday night. It was a little bit stressful. Wednesday was a super busy day for me. I forgot my make up bag and left all of Gunnar's shorts and pants in the dryer. A quick trip to Target fixed that right up though. The kids and I designed these shirts. I love making appliques for shirts. So fun!!
One of the things we miss most about California are the donuts!!! I know such a silly thing. You don't realize things you'll miss until they are gone. California has mom and pop donut shops on every corner. There are very few donut shops here in AZ. So, we always stop for some donuts in California.
