Gunnar's baptism

Gunnar was baptized November 20, 2014

Gunnar's baptism day is one of my very best days. I love baptisms. I would put all of my kiddos baptisms in my top 10 days ever, but because of my health issues, this one was especially good. I was only 2 weeks post op. Life was a little crazy for our family. Gracie had a dance recital the night before. Grandma Jordan flew in a few days before to stay with us through Thanksgiving. We had so many out of town guests who came in for the baptism. To make it even more special we had 2 baby cousins blessed in the same program. Dwight's brother Shawn blessed his baby girl, Lucy, and my brother Joe blessed his baby boy, Jack. I was so excited about this day for months. I was also so scared that I would miss it. So, the day of I was really emotional. 5 of my 6 siblings came in from out of town to be there with us. I was just incredibly grateful. The spirit in the meeting was so strong. Grandma Jordan gave the baptism talk, I did the Holy Ghost talk, Gracie and Savannah sang A Child's Prayer and Daddy sang I Know That My Redeemer Lives. Wow was it a good program. The relief society room was packed wall to wall. Every chair filled with, no aisles and no breathing room. November 20th also happens to be Gunnar's grandpa's birthday. That made it very special. We remembered and talked about both grandpas.  We remembered how much they love us, what great examples they are for us, and how excited we are to see them again someday. I know that they were there to witness Gunnar's special day. The veil was so thin.
I am so thankful for Gunnar's goodness. Thankful for his good choices and obedience. I'm thankful to be his mother and I'm so excited to see the amazing things he does in life.
I am blessed beyond measure to have this great man as my hubby and the father of my children. He takes care of us in every way. He loves us more than words. He is my best friend.
My 4 sweet kiddos. They are beautiful inside and out! I am beyond blessed to be their mom.
I love my siblings, we're just missing Lise!!! from the left to right Ray, Laura, Lucy, Joe, me and Jeff. I am so incredibly bless to call them mine.
My adopted sister Marisela who blesses my life. She made the girls baptism dresses from my wedding dresses and the boys cute ties from my dress as well. She is always there for me when I really need her. Love you Marisela!
