Fishys and Fun

Saturday is our family day. We normally start the day with some chores and the gym and then spend the afternoon doing something fun together. We go to the movies ALOT. We love the movies. This week we saw the Adventures of Tin Tin. The girls were less than thrilled, but Bear had been wanting to see it for some time. I love going to the movies with my little family. As I sat there with my little boys on the left of me and my little girls on the right with my handsome hubby on the end I felt complete contentment in that moment. So happy in my little world with beautiful healthy children and my best friend who loves me with all of his heart. How silly I know, but I have a happy life. We dropped off the puppy at the groomers just before the movie. She needed a hair cut :) She always looks so cute fresh and clean and sporting bows.

While we were in California Dwight promised Bear that he would buy him goldfish when we came home. So, here we were in the pet store and there were the gold fish. So, we now have a little 5 gallon tank with four fun goldfish in it. The kiddos were so excited. They each picked a fish and named them.

We love to feed them. It is so fun to watch them go for the food and see their little fishy personalites come through.

Bear picked a big white fish with a little orange on his head. He named him Bruce like the shark in Nemo. Gracie picked the one with the huge bulging black eyes. He is a little scary looking, but cute at the same times. She named him Fudge. She thinks his eyes look like fudge. :) Savannah picked the one that is multi-color, mostly orange with black and white spots. She originally named her Doree (like from Nemo). But she spends a lot of time looking at her reflection in the tank. So, she changed her name to Flo (like from Nemo again). Gunnar picked a little all orange gold fishy. He named it Cutie-pie. He talks to it a lot and always tell the little fish what a cutie-pie he is. So fun!!! Of course the girls fishys are girls and the boys fishys are boys, well according to them. Not sure how you determine that with fishys. Any whoo, fishys are fun. It's the simple things in life that make it remarkable and memorable. I love my little family.

I love the way Savannah is holding Bear's head in the top photo. So cute and funny.
