Reflecting on the first week of school

As I reflect today on our first week of school and on my life in general I am grateful. We made it. My children learned new things. They completed all of the lessons that they needed to. We read our scriptures and said our prayers. We said the pledge of allegiance. We did it together. My kiddos learned from their mother, their first teacher in life, the one who loves them the most. We are incredibly blessed. Tomorrow it will all start again and then the week after that. We will learn a lot, go on as many field trips as we possibly can, and have so much fun. We will hold hands, give hugs and kisses, and learn together. It's a happy life. So, don't ask me why I home school. I will ask you why you don't. :)
