Lake Perris

The other day we decided to go for a late afternoon trip over to Lake Perris. Although I wouldn't describe it as the cleanest lake it is really pretty and we had a nice time visiting. We went for a very long walk across the Perris dam. Then we let the kids play by the shore line. The girls didn't like the lake moss, but they played in the sand and searched for areas where they could put their feet in without touching the yucky green stuff. Bear combed the shoreline and found every rock in sight and threw it in the lake. A couple of really big ones gave him a little struggle but he managed to get them in the water. Gunnar loves to play in the sand. A shovel and a bucket and he's one happy kid. I love to spend time together with my family.
