There's one of my favorite episodes of the show sienfeld. It involves Kramer and a car ride. He is driving in a car with a guy and they decide to keep driving to find out how far the car can actually go once the low fuel light comes on. At the end of the episode half way through New Jersey and who knows how many miles after the light came on. Kramer looks at the driver, who is kind of proud and upset at the same time, and says to him as only he could " well good luck I gotta go". Proceeds to hop out of the car and hitch hikes his way back to Manhattan. Meanwhile the Driver is still sitting in the car wondering how he is gonna explain this.
Well for me I guess I feel for that guy a little. Sometimes I feel like I'm driving a car and someone is telling me ... hey just keep going , isn't this exciting ... haven't you ever wondered how far you could go on the low fuel light ?
Here's the good news , I know that in the end I'm not gonna be alone in New Jersey wondering what's next. I know I, and my family will all arrive safely at our destination , I know just where to go to "re fuel" . My hope is that I can keep reminding my self that I have to keep the spiritual tank full , so the temporal tank won't run dry.
