Our puppy Lou Lou
Lou Lou, oh Lou Lou what do to with you you??????? Let me first of all say that we love love love Lou Lou! She LOVES Gracie and Gracie LOVES her!!! However, she does NOT love my little boys. I would describe her as a nervous dog. She has growled at the boys a few times and has bit Bear a couple of times. Bear wants her to like him so much. It is so sad. He came to me a few days ago with the biggest crocodile tears showing me the wound. (I couldn't find the wound, her teeth are so small). I snuggled snuggled him on the couch. I wiped his tears away and kissed his perfectly kissable soft pink cheeks. I love to snuggle with Bear. He is trying so hard to gain her trust. Then at the park a little boy approached her. He's not quite two years old. She totally growled at him and snipped at him. Thank goodness she didn't get him. Man would that have ruined my day and her life! Another little boy approached her a few mins later, 4 years old and same thing. Ugh Ugh Ugh. So now I'm torn. We love her. But, we can't have a dog who doesn't like little boys. We love our little boys more than her. :) So, with my husband's approval and support, (thank you my loving husband) I am going to give it some serious effort before we make a so sad decision. She is getting some puppy obedience training. We have to wait until she gets her second set of shots. So I have to be really careful with her for about a month and keep her away from little boys. Fingers crossed that she can be trained and she can stay with us to be a sweet little part of our family.

You should look up Cesar Milan (The Dog Whisperer). Our dog did all his petsmart training but we still practice some of Cesar's tips and they totally work. I would see if he has any tips for a snippy dog.
