Chores and Allowance

During the summertime our house is hectic!!!! I started doing chore charts for my kiddos. If I am dilligent in reminding them about their charts it works out great. They each have different things they are responsible for. Some according to their age and responsibility level. They all are responsible for cleaning their rooms and putting their clothes away. They all have house chores also. Some of them have pets to take care of. They take turns taking care of the fish. Gracie is always responsible for Hurley the guinea pig and they take turns being responsible for Delilah our puppy, although Grandma Dee Dee and Patty are her primary caretakers.  They get a sticker on their chart at bedtime if they have done all of their chores for the day. They get a $5 allowance on Saturdays. They pay their tithing and then can choose what to do with the rest. They all saved up for a month so we could take a trip to Build a Bear workshop. We love this place. It's the first time my boys got Bear's. They were so excited. My girls brought bear's that they already had and just bought them clothes. I love these kiddos.
