A year in AZ

We moved here to AZ a year ago yesterday. It has been a crazy year. We came with trepidation, excited and nervous about being in a new place. It has been an adjustment for us. I will say that I have acclimated to the weather. Last year I was miserable and sweating constantly. This year I am pretty comfortable. I do drink a ton of water though. I still do not like the desert landscape. I miss green and I miss grass!!!! I miss the ocean and I miss my family. We have had quite a few ups and downs the last year. Lots of little health hiccups. I'm thankful we were here for them though because we have had great doctors and very nice hospitals.  And now here we are in the middle of the desert away from our family and we are out of a job again. Wowzers. Why are we here? But, we have a happy life. My kiddos LOVE school here. They are so happy here. But, who knows where we will be a year from now. Wherever work is. For now, we are happy and hopeful in AZ.
