Today I am thankful for Family Home Evening
We try very hard to set aside Monday evenings to have some time together as a family. We sing and pray, we have a lesson, we play and game. We spend time together. It is wonderful and uplifting. Today I gave a lesson on gratitude. One of my favorite parts in a quote by President Monson. He says, "A happy home is but an earlier heaven." He goes on to talk about when we are grateful for things we are happier. So true. Our little home is often an early heaven. What a blessed life I have.
We made a thankful tree. Just a simple tree I drew on poster board and I cut out cute leaves to attach. We all wrote a couple of things we are thankful for. I will post a picture of the little tree soon. Happy Monday!
