18 days and counting

Can you believe only 18 days until Thanksgiving? Yay, I'm so excited. Today I am thankful for the Sabbath day. The Sabbath day is a special day that we set aside to remember our Father in Heaven. We do different things on the Sabbath day and try to be reverent and thoughtful of him in all we do. Often it is called the day of rest. But it doesn't always feel that restful. We have church at 8am this year. That is difficult. It's nice to be home by 11:30 most Sundays though and have some time to relax. We do have meetings often. But, I love the Sabbath day. I love partaking of the sacrament and remembering my savior. I love being reverent and peaceful and renewing my commitments and uplifting my spirit. I love serving in Young Women's. Fast Sunday is always fun. My girls always bear their testimonies. As they grow older I am so impressed by their thoughtful comments. They are sweet and good and the world is such a better place because they are in it. I love the Sabbath day.

We were a little late today. 8am is so early and we have to take two car trips because my mom and Patty don't fit in the car with all of us. I always take them first so they are not late. We are late sometimes. :) We try really hard. Anyways, here we are waiting to go in. What a cute little family I have.

Blessing, and glory, and thanksgiving, and honor be unto our GodRev. 7:12
