We headed to Flagstaff on Saturday morning. My brother Joe and his wife Lauren and their sweet kiddos William and Bailey met us there. We checked in to our motel had some dinner and headed out to the train. We took pictures with Santa. Sooooooo funny! Joe's kiddos are afraid of Santa. Will is 2 and 1/2 and Bailey just turned 1, so they are at the age where Santa is a little scary. :) But, we got a fun picture with all the kiddos and then a super sweet one with my kiddos. We had a great time on the train. It was magical and so fun. They read the book on the way to the North Pole. They serve hot chocolate and cookies. We brought our book with us to read along. Then you arrive at the North Pole. It's super cute. Then Santa gets on the train and hands out bells to all the kiddos. He told my kids how glad he was that they came and that they are all so good. Today we ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel, so delicious, then stopped by Montezuma's Castle on our way home. It is an amazing castle built into the side of a mountain where people lived a long time ago. It is beautiful. We then headed home and visited for a little while. Joe and his family are back on their way home to California. It was so nice to spend time with them. We love them. We are happy to be home. This is such a crazy month. I am so excited for all the fun. This year I am going to try to slow down just a little bit. (my health kind of requires it) I am going to read my 18 pages a day of scriptures, I've missed a couple of days, but I am doing really good. I am going to hug my kiddos and kiss my hubby and smell the pine tree everyday. :) I'm excited to start decorating and celebrating the beautiful Christmas season. Thanks for checking in on us. | We stopped by a funny store in Williams, AZ . They sell butt rub, for cooking :), They also sold a really cute jammie with a trap door in the bum that said Bear bottom. :) I wanted to buy it for Bear but it was a little pricey. Maybe next year. |
