Bear turns 8

My Bear boy turned 8 on October 5th. Back to back birthdays makes the first week of October totally amazing and so busy. Bear and I started out his day at Joe's Farm grill for his free breakfast. He had been planning his birthday for months. The movie Frankenweenie came out on his birthday. So, we all went to see the movie in the afternoon. He ate popcorn and candy and drank sprite and was just the happiest boy.

Bear chose to have an Avenger's birthday. So, lots of Avengers toys and an Avengers cake.

He also asked for the Hulk costume. Which worked out great for me, because he wore it for Halloween. It was his favorite present. It's really an awesome costume and looks so good on him.

Bear is the sweetest 8 year old there ever has been. He is really into tv, movies, video games, and computer games. I have to closely monitor his screen time. He loves apples and candy. :) He thinks potty humor is hilarious. Such a boy! He loves to play checkers with Grandma. He has a super close relationship with my mom. She practices sight words and reading with him every day and gives him m&m's for doing a good job. He is so sweet with her. He has the sweetest face. He melts me. It is really hard for me to stay mad at him. He doesn't love school time :) but he works hard and is improving leaps and bounds. He thrives in the home school setting with one on one learning. He is excited for baseball to start again. He also wants to take care of me when I get old and plans on Dwight and I living with his family :) (it's good to be loved). He changes his mind often as to what he wants to be when he grows up. I think either a comic book writer and artist or a roller coaster designer. Sounds like a happy life. Although, he is a very big boy (about a head taller than kids his age) and loves to rough house with his daddy, he is such a teddy bear. He loves to cuddle and is such a sweet boy to me. He tells me often how pretty I am, how I don't need to wear make up, and how I am the best mother. He is becoming such an independent little man. I am so proud of his goodness and honored to be his mother. He makes me so happy and proud. He too makes the world a better place.

Happy Birthday Bear boy!!! We love you!
