The kids have been enrolled in online school, with the exception of our first year here in AZ, since Gracie was in kinder. It has been a blessing in our lives and an excellent resource. But, with common core taking over education I decided to pull them and do traditional homeschool. I'm considering enrolling Gracie for middle school in an online school that is modeled after college courses. She would take 2 6 week classes at a time. But for now, we are doing our own thing. The freedom has been fantastic. Here in AZ the only requirement was to file an affidavit letting the state know I am home schooling. No tests. No work sample. We are free to school.however we choose. Incredible! I found lots of discounted curriculum and my children are thriving. They are learning and growing. They are amazing little people. I am so thankful for the opportunity that I have to be home with them. This time is irreplaceable. I will never regret this decision we've made to school our children at home. I am so thankful to be their mother. I am so thankful for my hubby who supports us so lovingly and who continues to encourage me to home school our children. We work hard and we play harder. Life is a gift.
