Dwight's Graduation Day

After lots of hard work my sweet hubby graduated from University of Phoenix yesterday with his Bachelors of Science in Business and Marketing. I am so proud of him. His nephew Josh graduated too, so they were able to sit together and walk together. It was a long commencement, but the kids were really good.
Dwight text in a message for us that was on the big screen.
The ceremony was at the University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale where the AZ Cardinals play. It's about an hour from our home.

Martha Stewart was the key not speaker. My hubby was not thrilled to say the least. I on the other hand was totally excited. I thought she was inspiring. I want to be her when I grow up, besides the whole felon thing. :)

It says Dwight's name there on the big screen. That is his nephew Josh in front and Dwight right behind him.

There was a little reception afterwards with free cupcakes. :)

So proud of my hubby!
My little girls were really proud too! They both were teary eyes. We bought him a Hawaiian lei to wear. The girls walked over and gave it to him before the commencement. Aren't they so cute!!!

We had a great day. It was an early start. We left the house around 8:30am and didn't get home until around 11:30pm. I am so happy with how well my kids behaved. We sat in the stadium for over 3 hours. They were so good. Very little whining and no fighting!!!! They amaze me. After the graduation we went out to lunch with Josh and Stephanie. Again the kids were great! We decided to go to a movie. We saw the Avengers again. We liked it just as much the second time. Such a good movie. Then we drove home, a couple of the kids took a little cat nap. We ran by the store and grabbed some groceries for Sunday and then met up with the rest of the Jordan family for dinner at Oregano's. There was a mishap with our table and after being told we had a 25 minute wait we waited for an hour and 15 minutes. The kids still after such a long day were so good. We didn't leave there until after 11:00pm. We still love Oregano's by the way. They really took care of us and comped most of our food. Delicious! The kids were great for me all day. I am so thankful that they are so great and I love having them around.

I'm so thankful for my husband's great example to the kiddos. We talked about education and how important it is and how we want for our kiddos to strive for the highest education they can in whatever field interests them while they are young. We hope they won't struggle financially as much as we have. We had a great day!

Congratulations again to my sweet hubby!!!!! I am so proud of you and love you so much!
